KIDS COOKOUT

Currently working at the kids cookout event at united square! It's pretty fun handling with some really cute kids but equally tiring when you deal with some irritating ones. Consecutively 15days event & I'm not even halfway there but felt worn out already.

Couldn't really imagine myself teaching kids to cook since I never enter my home kitchen and start the stove myself. But this is event is different! You don't even have to on any stove whatsoeverrrrrrr :))

Sports Club

It's actually pretty fun hanging out with them as a clique.

In a few weeks time, the guys will proceed on to army and in a few months time, the girls will be away for their overseas studies. As it goes on, each and every one of us will be taking on a different path of life, we'll see less of each other.

And so, we've came up with an agreement to have this same gathering again 5 years later. When girls are done with their UNIs and guys done with their army. Pretty much looking forward to this reunion dinner in years to come, seeing how all of us are pursuing our own careers.

It's always like this isn't it? After a long while, i'm back to blogging again. Thought that i'll be too lazy to blog again but come to think of it, i'll never forsake this blogspot.

I don't enjoy holidays much, really. Didn't like the idea of waking up every other day and ponder what's going to happen for the next 24 hours. Well, if it's for a week, yes probably one drama series will do. But if it's for 2 months, which will need >10 dramas, i will literally rot to death.

Well, it really doesn't sounds as bad as you think it is. Haha. perhaps i'm just not getting use to it being free while all my friends have a task to complete. I'll just have to wait for mine..

Got lots of thoughts straighten out though, it's probably a good achievement.

Just let these 2 years pass quickly.

Imma Poly Graduate!

Just a blink of an eye, 3 years in Poly has passed. Fast indeed, could barely collect any memories.
Really glad that it's all over and i do not have to attend any more project meetings in my life. It'a a happy graduation which i was totally lovin' it. Can't wait for the next graduation rly. Gonna throw my grad hat 100 times by then. Haha.

Genting 15.05.2011

Went on a genting trip with my parents and boyfriend.

Our very first overseas trip (besides cruise) after 4 years being together.

The 6-7hrs bus ride which nearly killed me, thanks to the round and round circles we have to travel to get up above the clouds. Fancy wearing hotel slippers and in our pyjamas like clothes out for a midnight movie, 2 nights in a row. Running down to Old Town Coffee to get our supper, withstanding the cold wind blow and racing back up to the hotel room. Challenging ourselves to the outdoor theme park's space shot which stood at least 12 storey high & plunging down at once after a countdown of 3 seconds. 4 days of treating starbucks coffee like 80cents coffeeshop's & malysia ringgit like monopoly notes. Many first tries indeed, a ride on a cable car tgt, a rejected entry to the casino, having been to snow world with the v smelly jackets they provide, a achery lesson of 15 arrows (?) which i missed almost every single one of them.

A very sweet trip indeed.

BS's 20th

Just a mini surprise on the 8th of May.

The day where there were absoultely no wind and after much effort, the kite still failed to fly
but nevertheless, we tried. & the rest came along to give a lil suprise to our bday boy.

Angus house the very next day, chewing juicy savory beef bites & the many other dish/dessert that came along with it, mouth watering indeeeeed.

Redang Cruise

Day 2 of Cruise

Got up for yummy breakfast - My favourite Meal of the day in Cruise. Their Chinese (dim sum) and Western (cereals, hashbrown, eggs) are all good, yum yum!

Then its time for some sun tanning! Tanning in cruise is da best place for me. Relaxing and Peaceful with very lil pair of eyes staring at you. More of kids running around playing in the pool that makes me laugh if they do something silly.

Oh btw, while we were tanning, the other couple was busy sleeping in.

Off to Redang Island!

The beach was soooooo pretty! Been there a couple of times but i'll never get sick of the scenery! You'll never find this in Singapore

Favourite time of the day - SNORKELING!
Bought another child snorkeling equipment, so cheapppppp. & its free to snorkel, isn't it very worth it? If i stay in Redang, i will snorkel everyday with my equip. Haha.

Time to get down into the water with those big goggles & a very hard to breathe tube :/ A pity we didn't have flippers with us. Heheee

Tada! See the bod tailing behind my boyfriend?? Hahaha that's me. Not very well trained under water & im kinda struggling initially, struggling & choking sea water was torturous. Time passed and i got alil better with the equipments, phewwwwww. Anyway, I was really satisfied with the snorkel as I got to see my favourite CLOWN FISH!! Super adorable, yknw yknw the nemo movie (used to be my favourite movie), the orange looking fish? Hahaha that's the one. They were around their corals (their home), so pretty! Awww man, i wanna go snorkel again :(

Cruising

Just got back from cruise few days ago! Was my 3rd time on board already yet its still as fun! People usually get bored going to the same place over and over again. But for cruise&me, it seems like the more i go, the more fun it gets!! In fact, im kinda getting addicted over it i wanna go next weekend again!! hahaha. Must be the company!!! Also, this time round, Karwee & Jeanie joined our trip, it got better! The perfect combination, a lil of each couple's company and a lil of time alone, and also a lil of family time. Hehehe. Snorkelling was good as bs&I had the equipments and we could go underwater hand in hand, looking at the underwater view together was too good. But there's a time constraint, didnt have enough timeee >:(

NOT TO FORGET, a great pasttime of mine in cruise, gambling! Hehe. Not a big gambler, just small bets to get the kick/fun out of it. The hope we were betting on, the excitement of winning money and the luck you're counting on, it drives you crazy!! No wonder so many people are addicted to it! Heheeeee. sounds as if im gonna grow up to be a big gambler yeah? But nope! Once awhile is good enough, and fyi, my bets are really really small. Haha

The 3 days 2 nights weekend was so good, i can't seem to bring myself back to reality!! I'm even blogging about this during work. Haha its like, body at work, mind's away on a holiday aye?

Misses

3 months have passed and i'm happy to say that i'm coping well with her absence.

When she's around in the past, i used to think that if only she's not around, i've got a whole room to myself, how awesome. Now that she's back home & I've got the room all to myself, everything just doesn't feels the same, as if something's missing, it doesn't feels like my room anymore. Used to believe that everything will be messed up when she's not around.
But i guess i'm slowly getting used to it.

Sent my maid a text yesterday night & received an overseas call in return. A single phone call that made my day, couldn't stop smiling and feeling overjoyed over that call. After 13 years or more working for my family, she has finally reunited with hers and got happily married. On top, she's 1 month pregnant with her dear baby. This piece of news was incomparable. I'm so glad eveything's going so smoothly for her, couldn't be happier.

Promised myself when i'm of age to travel on my own, I'll visit her one day.
And i know that day will come soon. God Bless her, please.

Graduated

Just realised my previous post was about graduation party.. Now that 1.5 months have passed, I've finally graduated after 3 years in Singapore Polytechnic. Time truely passed quickly when you looked back, I was still considering whether to enter SP or NP back then. Those were the days

But oh wells, life still goes on isn't it? Its true that we'll miss the days being a student, so carefree and relaxing. But we're also curious about where we will end up being in the future. I won't want to remain as a student, I wanna grow up and explore the world. There's still so much things left undone, so much knowledge to gain, so much lessons for me to experience, which all seems endless.

Seriously, now that i'm a official graduate from SP. I'm quite lost with what i will be facing next.. All the thoughts of future, future & future, its quite killin' me.

Back to last month, the month of love in the air, Valentine's Day!!

Spent the day with my beloved boyfriend, MWBS! Heh, a strong holding relationship ever since years ago. A lil set back brought us apart but not for long. Half a year passed and we got back together as one again. This time round, things are turning out even better than before as we matured. Graduation Party

SP organized a graduation party for all DAC students! Ain't sure if other courses have as well, but i think its only unique to some courses! Totally appreciate the time and effort they took to organize such a event for all of us! The fun filled games which kinda got all nerdies excited (nerdies coz DAC student ah) hahaha. And the freee class phototaking session! Kudos to oragnisers! ;)

Day 5

Its time for some Xiao Long Bao testing!!! Nomz Nomz. Headed over to Yu Yuan Garden, place for tourist and their very famous XLB restaurant! Hehe was really looking forward to it but it wasn't as 'WOW' as i expected it to be somehow, booo.

Its damn sickening and gross, who the hell will even eat this? YUCK

And these keychains?? It acutally looks like a toy with fake plastic fishes inside right?

But ITS ACTUALLY REAL SWIMMING FISHES!!!

what could be more cruel than this?? Moreover, while promoting this keychain to the customers, the salesperson even drop one of the keychain down to the floor and pick it up to hang it again, the real fish inside looked giddy to me? Zomg, extreme cruelty, how could they do this!?

Kinda disappointed with the XLB. But ohwells, the shopping there @ ShangHai covers all the disappointment i have in me! HHEHEHEHE. TOO CHEAP TOO MUCH TO SHOP :D

See this? I was actually munching on bread in the train itself!! HHAHA damn awesome! There's no signs of no eating and no drinking in the train at all HEHE. I won't have to look around the train before i drink a sip of water, its so torturing to do that. Drinking and feeling guilty at the same time when there's an announcement saying 'no drinkking' So much more freedom @ ShangHai!!! HEHE

SO BORED with my usual straight hair, i decided to get a change!! HEHE tried our curls for the first time in my life (SERIOUS?!) Ya lah. I always think that curls make one looked auntie. And apparently, it did to me either. More mature in the sense, which i really likeeedddd. Would totally curl my hair in the future! Hair faster grow hair faster grow

MANICURE THERE WAS SO CHEAPPPP, i did twice in 2 days. HAHA. The first one went terribly wrong, i was so upset so i tried it again and tada, French Manicure! ;)

& it came with massaging too HEHE

1 hour massage and is so comfortable i fell asleep halfway through?? TOTALLY wasted my $$$$ on the massage ://

DAY 7, LAST DAY

Our very last day in ShangHai definitely didn't go to waste even though we had to leave for the airport at 12pm! We got up really early like 7am?? HAHA just to go back to shopping centres thats kinda like warehousing! ZOMG SHOP AGAIN MAKES ME COME ALIVE!! HEHE

Day 4 - Hang Zhou

Enough of shopping, its time for some real tourist attractions! We booked a coach for a trip to Hang Zhou with proper tour guide for a day. Problem with going on a tour, you hadda wake up really early for the day, so tiring. Anyway, journey from ShangHai to Hang Zhou takes 3 hours, freaking 3 hours. To and fro = 6 hours in total :/

On the whole, HangZhou has come to be known as " The Home for silk and tea ".

So 3 hours journey were mainly spent on sleeping and snoring away.. Hehe

My very powderful (not error) tour guide, haha! His Chinese is powerrr! In every sentence he spoke, there's at least one chinese idiom and its amazing! I've never seen anyone speaking like that in Singapore. The speed he goes was like a bullet train, i was trying to catch and understand every sentence he speaks and often got lost halfway and give up.

Our first destination was to visit the West Lake of Hang Zhou, pronounces as Xi Hu. Lots of poetic stories behind this Lake, one of which was liang shan bo & zhu li ye (that is if i never hear wrongly, tour guide was speaking too chim-ly)

So we took this lil' boat meant for tourist and a round through the West Lake.

There are thousands of fishes in that pool!!! Each and every one of it looking bright red, leaving the whole pool full of live and energy.

Spent the whole morning over at the West Lake and its time for the famous National Silk Museum which is the first Chinese national museum to be dedicated to silk culture and is the largest of its kind in the world.

See these lil' white balls? Its actually silk cocoons!

Idk how it actually works but for what i know, a silkworm constructs a cocoon and produces silk filament! At this stage, the cocoon will be treated with boiling water. Every silkworm produces a small amount of silk and will die afterwhich? (Apparently, according to SueAnn hahahh!) The silk will be stretched over his U shaped thing. This ah-ma is currenly 80+ and due to the making of silk for years, her hands are as soft as a baby! Softer than mine?...

Tada! And they're made into these. Really soft and silky, like a baby's skin but it's also damn expensive like keeping a baby. Hahaha

Wasn't really interested in getting any silk blankets but more interested in getting some hot corns in such a cold weather! Smoking hot corns coming to our rescue! Hehe, my bro and i saw a couple having a hard time biting off the corn and we got so tempted to get some for ourselves as well! So we searched for this uncle..

Next stop was to tea-tasting, The Long Jing ("Dragon Well") green tea which is world renowned for its exceptional qualities in colour, fragrance and taste.

To be frank, i've no knowledge of chinese tea and ain't no interest in it either. To me, the tea tastes as plain as water and i can't taste the tea leaves at all!?!? No fragance no nothing, no colour also ah, am i a failure or what? Hahaha. All i know, was that the boss was so fluent in his chinese and seemed to possess natural talent in marketing his products. After a good half an hour talk, he managed to convinced many to buy his tea leaves including my dad who bought a can of premium (apparently the most expensive) tea leaves. I bet he doesn't know how to appreciate the tea as well! Just buy for the sake of buying... Evidence? The can of tea leaves has been stored in the refridgerator since we're back! HAHA, my dad got scammed!!

Last destination - LingYin Temple.

I wasn't supposed to snap any photos in the temple so these 2 photos are googled! The whole temple was so huge, almost the size of a whole khatib i think? Totally a place for tourist attraction. Moreover the joysticks ain't cheap! But everyone will still buy right? They'll have the mindset of 'since im here alr, just get it for once' and tada, money lost. But still, if we have to pay this cash to assure our lil' hearts that everything's gonna be smoothly sailed, its all worth it.

Experience Shang Hai (Part 1)

I'm back, I'm back, a long time ago! Haha. Anyway updates of this trip! Wasn't really very excited about this trip as much as my previous trip to Hong Kong. Got to do very much with the comany that i'm going with. Pros & Cons. I get to spend as much as I want without worrying about the lack of cash and the idea of being broke lik wht happened in HK however, ain't as crazy and hell with family compared to friends. But either way, its being OUT of Singapore so yeah, both are equally as good! Hehehe.

The idea of travelling perks me up everytime (;

Anyway, i'm really am very disappointed with the SIA airstewardess. The image of one used to be a 'wow' with everyone staring at as she walks pass, full of envy, the poise, the beauty used to stun everyone. However, the idea of one now is 'eew', doubt i'll be able to go into details but yeah, its so disappointing it makes me think twice about being one.

A coach came to fetch us from the airport and brought us to my relatives house! Oh btw, thats why we went ShangHai, to visit my relatives and also for her to bring us around! No tour nothing. Pros and Cons again.

By the time we reached her place which was 1 hr journey from the airport and after 5 hours of flying, its really tiring. Moreover, sky has turned dark and there's nothing much to do after a filling dinner.

I went over to stay at a motel with my parents though, while the rest stayed at my couzz' place. I'm so glad i tagged along with them! Hehe coz that means i can messed up the hotel as much as i like and i won't need to tidy up the bed every morning! MUAHA i won't want to be maria so soon! By the time we checked in, it was already pretty late so the very first day was nothing much, just some photo taking and buying of winter wear for the other days.

Though its winter season, the weather wasn't that cold, it was bearable! All i wore was just a long sleeve tee with a thick coat over and scarf to over my neck. And it's so pretty to b in Shang Hai, i meant everyone's looking really good over there! Due to the winter season, everyone's wearing coats with boots, such prettaye. Lots of mix and match! You don't have to look good with your plain clothes, just as long as you have a nice coat over and super high boots, sexy enough alr! Awwww, if only Sing has winter season, i'll buy hundreds of boots to mix match! Booo, but only a 1 pair in the end to last for 7 days. After this, i've no idea when i'll be wearing them again :(

How could i miss out trying my favorite pearl milk tea?! Haha tried it on the very first day. But its yuckkk. Milk tea frm ShangHai tastes like sugar milk tea! Its super duper sweet and definitely not to my liking! At Koi, I'll always order only 25% for HazelNut Milk, super less sweet for me, so healthy (:

Oh, i was so glad that internet corner actually existed in the motel! Shocked in fact hha b'coz its quite a kinda budgeted motel but we stayed in it only bcoz it was the nearest to my relatives place! Nevertheless, internet was all i need! Heh, my only way of communiation with bs! Emails emails everyday, heheh ♥

So we went back to the motel and rest, hadda get ready for our proper first day in ShangHai!! Hehehe.

Breakfast early morning! So chinese right (duh), youtiao, soyabean, porrdge and egg! Didn't dare to even touch the youtiao! haa i was hving ulcer and anymore fried stuffs gonna give me a sore throat which is the last thing i would like it to happen. A light breakfast and we were ready to go! Shopping at H&M! Heeheee.

This is ShangHai's ticketing machine! Ohyeah, everything is in freaking chinese which is so so troublesome! I even have difficulties using my mobile if its in chinese language, let alone the whole country with chinese wordings right!?!? Okay, at least thats a language i've learnt before and not korean, german, indian etc etc so its not that bad but ain't good either. Hha oh and the train ticket there is freaking cheap!!! OMG everything is cheap over there in fact! Hha! 3-4 stops Train ticket costs like 3 yen? ( divide by 5) which is $0.60 Sing from Khatib to Woodlands! Cheap lehhhh i take a bus ride to Yishun from my house costs $1 alr! Urghhh

This is the map of the whole train stations. They have freaking 10 lines which makes my head go 0.0 alr, hahaha! So the 1st day, we travelled to Lu Jia Zhui, 4 stops away from Jin An Shi. (I'm typing all these for memories sake btw, so i'll know my way if i'm going back to ShangHai again! hehe

The first building you'll noticed straight after you stepped out of the mrt station. This is actually one of ShangHai famous tourist attraction place. Its called the ShangHai Oriental Pearl Tower! It's actually the so called TV tower of ShangHai or rather its like a mediacorp in Singapore. Its really pretty and freaking tall! Btw, the Pearl tower can always be seen if you're in the city/town area of ShangHai, you'll see more of this in my later photos! Its like everywherrree...

Shopping time, H&M!! :D

Cons : A pity that in terms of shopping, the clothings sold were all winter wear!! :( So redundant if i were to buy, i won't even get to wear in back Sg, not even a single day. So all i could do was to admire the winter wear, wishing that winter season will come to Sg one day....

Lunch Time!

Guess what!? Yay, korean foodddd, meat meat meat! Hehe. Its so tiring for females in korea anyway, to prepare a meal, they had so many dishes at one go. Lots of enjoyment while eating however after which, they hadda wish so many plates! So tiring..

Mom Mom, beef i love beef ♥

The Guo Tie stall we saw at the roadside! Its usually this kinda street side places that sell good and cheap food right! Hehe, indeed its yummyzzxzxzxz but super oily though. Bet they used oil like water, oil's so cheap in ShangHai anyway, hhahaha. Munching on some hot fried Guo Tie when the weather is chilly, no worries about perspiraton, shiok (:

Time for a hair wash! Its so chilly in ShangHai you can barely go naked and bathe! Even in Sg, bathing early morning can be quite chilly already, let alone in cold countries. Thus, its best not to wash your hair when you bathe! Just in case you catch a chill. There's this hair saloon 2 shops away from my motel and the wash/blow is only 30 yen (6 sg)!! Cheap and Convenient! That explains why we were there in the same saloon everyday, washing and blowing our hair! hahaha, bet the saloon made lots more business during the 7 days we were there with 8 more customers everyday! hehe. If its this cheap in singapore, i'll do it often! A pity its like $30 in Sg :S

Cheap thrills ♥

After a quick blow, we're off to a massage parlour! I know, really like enjoy life right? Hahaha. kinda but this kinda life suits my elders more, like my parents! I'm still young, healthy and lively with no muscle aches, I don't need a massage! Haha. Bet the Massage Therapist could hardly massge anything, all bones leh. I did a full body massage and most of the time i'm yelling in pain, told the lady to go softer on me while my parents were like shiok shiok, hahaha.

Yet another round of good food!

Pros : Traveling with my parents meant thumbs up for food! All the meals i had during
these 7 days excluding breakfast were in restaurants!! hahaha good life hurr, all the good food served right up to my nose and mom mom mom everyday, bet i grew fat

Day 3

Since we were not on tours, everyday was free and easy and thus, its almost shopping everyday!! heehehehe kudos for youngsters but a pity to my Dad! He doesn't shops much so all he did was carrying our coats and shopping bags!! hehehehe. Took a bus ride over, i took a ShangHai bus!!!! K, lame.

Couzzzz

Took bus to this place called Qi Bu Lu, a place flooded with shopping centres. And in each shopping centres, there's literally thousands of lil' shops selling everything that you can shop, clothes gloves boots shoes socks coats bags wallets belts hats. Bought everything that i listed, MUAHAHAH alot of bagsssss in replacement of clothings. A shopping paradise!!

Inside, its actually like bugis street just that its not streets. After 3 hours of walking, I had enough of it. It was so tiring to keep walking in rounds rounds rounds seeing a lot of repetitive shops and go about bargaining prices with the shop owners. And after you thought you got a good bargained price, you went to another shop and saw a smiliar one which the salesperson sold it at a even lower price. -.- How irritating. After 3 hours, my head got so giddy & my legs were damn tired, i needed a head & foot massage haha

Traffic in ShangHai was horrible as well! They do have red/green lights but not every driver comply. Its even dangerous to cross the road with green lights and no drivers will let pedestrain cross at zebra crossing, you needa find your way through. Its quite scary for beginners well singaporeans as we're so used to the good order of traffic. However, people over there are braver? they're not worried about being banged down by a vehicle, all they know is its green lights, they just walked and the vehicles will stop for them. While being singaporeans, we tend to check and while we check, the driver will just drive pass us. So after 7 days i learnt my lesson, just walk only don't be afraid. And i did it! I'm can be a Shanghai lady anytimeee (;

Taxi Ride!! When you wish to board a taxi, there's no use if you flight for the taxi, the drive would nt actually get the signal and stop for you! You just need to open the door and board, thats their way of getting into a taxi! For example, if its red lights and a taxi stopped waiting for green lights, you'll just have to go straight and open the door, hop in and thats it! Hahaha interesting hur! Moreover, taxi fares are damn cheap over there i swear!! For a 30 minutes ride back to our motel, the cab fare was 25 yen ($5) divide by 4 passengers which makes it only $1++ each person!! Omg its so cheap we decided to take taxi whereever we gooooo, wheeee. Bcoz of this mindset, there was one taxi ride we took about 5-10 minutes, the meter never jump at all, remained at 12yen!! Omg, i nearly went crazy, hahahaha.

Lunched

Guess what?! Something unique over there. It's acutally Goose Rice!!! Mom Mom Mom Mom again, hehehe. Goose was not allowed in Sg so its my very first time trying it. You've heard of Chicken Rice, Duck Rice but not Goose Rice right! hahaha sounds funny but its damn Yummyyyyyyzxzxzz!! Better than Duck and thus MUCH better than chicken!! Nomz Nomz, its not cheap anyway, considered one of the expensive items over there but totally worth the taste :DD

Feel the life in ShangHai

After lunch, we decided to be some normal tourists! Went over to Nan Jing Dong Lu, walked along the whole street which is damn far apart, to the bund and view ShangHai's scenery. Ain't interesting after awhile but thats what tourists have to do and at least, i've visited that place before! (:

Look at the time in the photo! It's only 5.45pm and the sky is already so dark!! Its looks as if its 8pm in Sg alrdy! Think thats why people over there turn in the night and gets up really early!

Bittersweet December

Now that my maid has left S'pore and that i've no tears left to cry, I still miss her alot. Its so hard for my brain to stop thinking of her when every lil' thing that exist in my room reminds me of her, sighs.

Gladly, i won't get to be reminded of this for the moment as its time for SHANGHAI!!

Hehehehehe.

Flight's tmr and i'll get to admire SIA air stewardess I wanna be.

But that also means not seeing baby for 7 days. Urghh.

I'm not looking back to coming back to S'pore after 7 days of hell fun and pure enjoyment. B'coz after which, it only means that i've to be Maria Grace.
Washing 7 days of clothes is madness I don't wanna :(

So the time has come, for my maid to leave for good after 13 years.

These 13 years have been so wonderful with her around for me, every night she will be sleeping by my side without fail. Every night of this 13 years. She's like a mother to me.

From the day i met her, i was just a Primary 1 kiddo, innocent and shy,a crybaby.
Now, i'm fully grown, 19 years old and she's leaving.

Thought i will be able to handle this, thought i will be getting used to the fact that she's leaving since i knew about it months ago, all those thoughts i was wrong about. The fact is i couldn't bare the thought of her leaving me all by myself, all alone in the dark sleeping at night, i couldn't even face up to reality that she's leaving because i thought she won't be leaving, she'll be here always like how she had been for the past 13 years.

Thought i'll be strong enough, but i couldn't even finish writing one letter without tears.

When she returned, she looked and asked if i cried thanks to my swollen eyes.
I denied but she knew it, she knew i was lying.

She knew i was hiding my feelings and still, like a crybaby.

Celebrations Part 3!

Finally its 18/10/2010! Heh, my favourite day every year of course! This year's different though, it falls on a MONDAY which is frigging first day of the start of a new school semster. Skipped my first day though, hehe - birthday present for myself (:

Frankly, I was kinda exhausted when the actual day actually arrives due to the post celebrations before. But still, had the energy to spend my special day with my beloved! Heeeeeee.
Many first tries this year! :D

Thai Express for lunch! Have i mentioned before? Bi and I were really afraid of Thai Express years ago. Haha when someone mentioned Thai Express, our faces turned sour and gave that 'eeeeyer' face. Hahaha! The very first time we tried, we ordered the wrong dish which is totally weird that taste like 'yuck', then we kinda promised not to eat Thai Express again.

Then some Thai Express lover (Khong Shi Min) praised about it over and over again, talking about spice and all that spur me on to try TE again! Before entering the shop, i even called her to ask which order's the best! AND.... IT TURNED OUT GREAT!!

Super spicyyy (favourite plus shiok) and the glass noodle's like not fattening kindd. SUPERB TTM. Thai Express's impression totally changed from then on! (but still, Ramen remains first place no matter what, heheeee) Yummmy, talking about it, my craving is back!! >(

With a great lunch (first meal of the day), the day started out really well! Headed to UnderWater World afterwhich! Hehe, my very first time! Decided i should at least step inside UUW before i become some singaporean kuku, 19 years of life in s'pore and you've never been to UUW?!

So people, those of you who hasn't been to UUW, better get your asses there asap!

Then its visiting time. UUW's a smart place, the entrance first few creatures that we met were so interesting! Gave me a very good feeling about my rest of the trip! But the ending seriously wasn't as expected! It's kinda boring when it comes to the latter part. Only because you can't get to touch any of them afterwards. Only eye power is needed.

Then we moved on to another touch-able pond which was alot alot bigger and it stinks! Haha overflowing huge stingrays. They were really big and SOFT, yes soft! Touched it like a few times and kinda got addicted to it somehow, kept returning to feel it, love its softness but it still stinks.

Hahaha and indeeedddddd, thats what happened!

Place was really comfy and relaxing. Now i understand why people will actually spend $$ to get themselves harmed. Hahah. Very first time at shisha, again!! (Many first tries,i told ya!) Researches said 1 hour of smoking Shisha is equivalent to smoking 1 whole packet of ciggs! God, and we spent like coming 2 hours or even more in there? Haha, its kinda fun though i ended up coughing after a few tries and ended up with a sore throat at the end of the whole session. Haha. Ain't going backk anymoreeeee, too harmful.

I smoked 1 whole packet of ciggs the very first hour of being 19th, literally.

My 18th had been a roller coaster ride, ups and downs. Being single after a few days of being 18th and it still goes back to square one now, after a huge big round which took more or less coming 1 year. Didn't regret whatever that happened though, learnt alot, made lots of closer friends. And lastly, everything changes, ain't like that way it used to be when we're together.

My 19th started off beautifully, with everything i needed. Back to square one with a little changes was all that made my life complete together with many friends i've became close with during the adventure of the roller coaster ride. Hehe, thank you people!

Celebrations Part 2!

1 day before my actual birthday was spent with my poly friends! Yet another kiddy place by our dear big head, Michelle Tiong. Heheheeee, i know how it feels like to be a one-man show but all your efforts for planning this for me are totally appreciated!! Last year we celebrated at Kids Amaze!! (Click my archives Oct 2009 if ya have no idea what i'm talking about!) I know, kiddy place right, hahaah. the entrance fee was like cheaper for adults and more expensive for kids! & I guess its gonna happen every year!! heheheh. this year we went to.....

LILY PUTT!!!

I kinda like that place actually. Everybod shall go for a try @ Lily Putt, pretty interesting i would say, its a place for kids to try mini golf-ing! I was considered a kid that day, my very last day of being 18, very last moment to do stupid childish retarded acts. (Nope, that moment will never arrive, i like doing retarded things! Esp when its partnering with Mich, hehe!) So each of us gets a golf ball which will stick with us throughout the 18 stages. The minute the staff showed us the golf balls, each of us grabs our own personal colour which is so us, so the cling. Grabbed the only purple one without any hestitation of course ((:

Golf's kinda fun actually. But i guess it was because its my very first time playing it. I'm not going back to the same place again fyi! hahaha. Its just a one-time place you will go have fun, create memories there, bid goodbye to that place and never enter it again unless its free entrance, just like the singapore flyer. Haha.

Thanks girls, thanks for celebrating my special day with me, every year of my poly life. Poly's life gonna end really soon, its the last semster already. Time really passed fast hurr, w/o us knowing. From the day we got to know each other, so strangerish so unfriendly till today we're actually such good friends. Spending almost every minute of school days together, laughters, jokes, studying like mad for our crazy modules, having total spilt opposite personalities, eating the same stalls together @ FC 6, hating Kou Fu FC 4 the most, detest gems classes, bitching about other girls, having sweet eyecandies, teasing each other about each's eyecandy then realise he actually likes one among us but not the one (iknow iknow only weknow!), honeyloved girls.

The other day one of our new teachers asked how was it like for the past 2.5 years in poly,

Michelle's reply was : It's really great because i've got to know such good friends in poly.

Awwww babe, i bet everyone of us in the cling feels the same way. Poly life ain't the same without you girls, we won't look forward to school everyday. Sometimes we discussed about how will it be if each of us were in different DAC classes, its like a death route to go to, seriously (with all the studious faces people?!?!! I know I'm mean kayy, haha). All the times when we had this discussion, we always ended up feeling happy for being together, lucky much.

The noon went by and its time for dinner! Hehehe, dinner's always special when it comes to celebrating one day. Its always good food, good place with good company. So... Dinner was a surprise, a real surprise. Cling blindfolded me (again) and brought me to somewhere... Somewhere to these great people on earth!

Look at how happy i was! Haha, was really excited to know what's beyond those cloth over my eyes. Was really elated these guys actually collaborated with cling to surprise me. Got close with them only this year esp tiffo and wasn't really expecting any celebrations from you guys since i'm not usually the ON-XZ one and i know always ps-ing last minute. Hehe, thank you people!

If i were to get back my own card, all of them will share the cost of my bill & if any unlucky one who gets my card will have to pay for the total bill of my food. Hehehe. And yknow who was the unlucky one? Hahaha! Guess the unlucky one is actually the one who has been the closest to me throughout 3 years in poly. Hehehehe i love you babe.

After dinner, Michelle & Andrea went off first, leaving me with the clique roaming around, finding out way to sky garden SLOWLY. I swear i have no clue at all there was something happening at sky garden!! Mich still sent me a text saying she kinda felt awkward tgt with them and i totally took it in, feeling damn sad when they say they hadda leave.
Little did I know.....

My lovely 2 girls bought balloons from carrefour and had a hard time blowing 19 of it! They even called chris and zijie over just bcoz they had a breathless time after blowing 10 of it. Hahah such cutiepies. So when i entered sky garden, i was happily wondering what were we gonna do there when it's just a playground and nothing else. Haha. When i was about to step up the stairs, my head turned left (okay, i rmb this scene like super clear i know) and i saw 4 human beings squatting with balloons in their hands covering their bod. All i could see was 4 pairs of legs with lotsa lotsa balloons covering their faces. Hehe, zomg the feeling of love just yknw.. like water splashed over your whole body.

My heart nearly meltzxzx on the last hour of being 18th.

Celebrations Part 1!

My 19th birthday was a blast!!!!!!! I was so glad that everything turned out to be perfectly awesome! Many planned surprises which totally brightens up my day! Heheh. Days before my actual day, i was actually still wondering how am i gonna celebrate this special day of mine... But now i know, no worries because there's superb friends there to spend it with me! Hehehe. Thanks peeps, ALL who played a part in celebrating my bday for me, totally appreciated! Couldn't be happier (;

Okay so 2 days before my actual day was celebrated with my dear girl! hehehe, Town-ed with Shimin. On the way, i've officially quitted marvelous cream! And i'm kinda glad i finally did!! Hehehe, my fat period's gone forever kay, better. Yakun-ed for breakfast and off for shoppping! A pity i didn't get to see anything i like! I was all so ready to just nets it and buy something newww, but nothing caught my eyes, boooo.

Miss Khong got me a casio watch for bday! Hehe, thanks alot dear! (:

Then it's time to head back Khatib (our lovely hometown). Hehe, ever since i've grew, there's one more common factor between us! Thats _ _ _. Yknw luh dear! hahahah So no matter how much longer we wished to stay in town, we decided to go for a swimmmm (:

Feels so good after the exercise, like 2kg lesser, literally. Then it's time to camwhore when you're in such a good mood! Hehe, girls girls girls. Kinda unexpected hurr. When we were reaching his place, i was thinking... are they gonna cook for me?? hahaha never did i thought it will be a steamboat!! Guys actually went to fairprice and got all the ingredients plus made the soup themselvels!! I'm seriously shockedddd, didn't know they guys can actually accomplished this task w/o girls' help! Haha keedinngg kay. And seriously, my friends are all of high maintenance, imma go broke hanging out with them!

Cruise Trip

Yet another loving cruise trip! Hehe. This trip was sooo much better than our previous one. Mainly becuase I wasnt sick for this second trip (Made sure i drank hell lots water before the trip) & I got slimmerrrr which makes the photo taking a much easier process!! Totally enjoyed the 3 dayys, yay!

Pi Ka Bo

Have i ever mentioned that Cruise served 5 meals per day? Breakfast, lunch, teabreak, dinner, supper. AND every meal is buffet style?!?! Totally insane. Its like eating madness for these 3 days but im so glad my appetite shrink which means i'm eating lesser to get full easily, luckily, if not bet i'll grow at least 2kg after with SUPPER meals consecutively for 2 daysssss.

Anyway, nothing beats cruise for a relaxing trip. Waking up from a good sleep, looking out through your room window, seeing the sea waves splashing splashing as the cruise travels, getting ready for breakfast, going for a swim/jacuzzi, enjoying the breeeze. Wow, too good to be true.

2nd Day!!

Hadda take a speedboat to Radang Island & its beautiful! Went for mini snorkelling and i was kinda surprised the Radang sea actually has so many fishesss, totally unlike sentosa (like duh!) okokay. It was so pretty, a pity we couldn't go deeper. Can't wait till i'm older, gonna go real for scuba diving!!

4 hours up and its time to head back to the cruise! I was so exhausted I fell asleep on the speedboat back which takes only like 15 minutes or so? Hahaha.

Later on that night, washed up and its time for a poolside bbq party! Wow, i was totally amazed. My eyes kinda expanded when i saw how the party was starting. Food's everywhere, lotsa variety and crowd was just right, having lots of fun.

Anyway, i'm in love with this whatever its called, i forgot! But its kinda like a prata just that its crispy and crunchy! Its like plaster prata just that it tastes a lot better than plaster! Its thicker and it kinda fills your tummy after having just one of it!

I ate like coming 3 of this? Couldn't get enough! I was 40% full after one btw.

After clearing up the whole bbq place, its time for the choco madness party! Cruise's crazy, it makes everyone who goes there FAT! It's all about the FOOD there. Food there doesn't really taste like heaven but the fact that there's lots of variety & a buffet style makes one unable to control themselves and just get as much as we can possibly take but unable to finish up all the food. Everyone always ends up wasting so much so much food and yes, that includes me!!

Heheh, great work out with great people turns a normal day to a great day & that's all that matters, hehe! ♥

AFA paper today was the first paper and it's screwed, badly, so badly. Couldn't even bare to think about it anymore, it so demoralizing. Studied till wee hours all just for a screwed fucked up paper. Prawning

Prawning Session with the softballers turned out to be reallyy fun! Its my second time prawning and i still kinda suck at it. Only managed to catch 1 little small prawn this time round and let loose of 4 other prawns. Its never easy or probably its just me. Haha.

5 of us arrived at the prawning place and started earlier before shimin and calvin joined us later. 5 of us took turns to prawn and within half an hour everybody has caught their first prawn (including me!) besides BingShun. He stood there for nearly half an hour to no avail while each of us took turns to catch 1 prawn every 5 minutes interval. Haha though being frustrated, Bi still managed to catch prawns eventually. The very first prawn of his happens to be a really really really BIGG one! All of us got a shock that his long awaited first blood could actually be this huge. Haha, it shows that good things are worth the wait hurrr. Now we know (:

Did i mentioned? We've got a really good prawn catcher! Kudos to you KC!

After a good 3 hoursss, we caught quite a pathetic amount of prawns and even had the idea of extending another 3 hours for 2 rods which cost a good $60. Luckily, we killed that idea. So cooking of prawns finally started, thats the best part to me! (B'coz its FOOD?) Haha! Plain prawns with salt could actually smell & taste really gooddd.

Holidays are the best (Y)(Y)

Have been enjoying myself to the fullest this YOG holiday. Perhaps its an additional freeeee holiday, thats why i'm enjoying it even more. hahaha. Too many awesome nights around and i'm getting out of control. Haven't been home for dinner for these days and i'm kinda feeling guilty. Even if i do get home, i will sneakily get out of the house when they're asleep. Damnnn. I've strict parents that left me with hardly any choice.

P.S They didn't allow my genting trip with spssc too >(

Nights spent with softballers are just way beyond awesome ♥
Every night when i got home, i lay on bed thinking it's such a awesome night. Apparently, i can't find any word to replace awesome luh. Haha, it's just too good. Prawning session wassss fanntasticcc (Photos to be uploaded really soon).

Legs are currently achingggg thanks to training yesterday night. Wow, training, i miss those times whereby we trained (softball) everyday, means skinny skinny skinny. Haha. Valentin got Shimin, Chyening and mysef into this captain's ball competition thingy for her church and the first price is $500. Thats why our team name is 500-fly-here. Hahaha, been training for a few times and i guess our team isn't that bad, 500 might actually fly to us. Haha. Saturday's the competition and i've so many things going on that day! Sadly, i'm only able to play for the first few games as i'm rushing over to yet another trg (F1 trg) in the noon. Boooooooo.

Marina Barrage

Officially the start of the YOG break and I came up with this plannnn to get outta and chill our ass off! It's been really long girlssss, since we are together OUT of school days, hanging out. It's so unlike the past when we always hang out together after lessons, be it mahjong, picnic, shopping, movies, we've not been doing all these for a longg nonng time ):

But ohwells, at least this day happened! hehehe and i'm glad it did, hadda lotsa fun & i bet both you girls felt the same way as me even if it's just a simple afternoon together. So glad that Michelle took the wheels and drove us around! Our usual Monopoly Deal after our stomachs are filled! Afterwhich, we kite fly! Heheh, i suck at it, has always been. My kite just can't fly high at all while Mich's goes really high up. We were using the same kite so i guess the problem lies with the person who's flying the kite. Haha, Sue's hiding in the shade as always, appearing once in awhile for like 1 minute?

This has got to be the most classic moment. Threw in the kite in the direction of the wind according to Mich's instructions to get the kite start flying. Kite flew back & hit hard right on my face instead -.-

Rashes are appearing on my neck. I have absolutely no idea what food i'm eating that i'm allergic to. It's my first time having rashes and it's bloody itchy. My whole neck has like red dots all over and it's so irritating to try not to scratch it when it's urging you to scratch!

Anyway, past two days have been a bore. Friends seemed to be disappearing suddenly, couldn't even find a company to get outa house or rather didn't really bother to ask around, booo. On a brighter note, next few days will be funn! hehe, haven't been seeing shimin and bee often ever since school reopens. Now that its holidays, im gonna see them real soon! (Y)

NDP Preview 2010

Long awaited NDP! Ever since primary 5, I've been hoping, wanting & waiting to watch NDP again! Finaaaaaaallllly, I've got my chance this year. Much thanks to BingShun for the tickets, kudos to you! Though it's just preview, its really good enough. Atmostphere almost there, just the lack of actual date, which didn't really make any difference. Preview was awesome, just as i expected it to be. The one thing I've been looking forward to : NDP tattooed on my face!

Everything went gr8 besidesssss the scorching sun! We were seated in a position that's facing the sun directly from 4 to 5. Killer sun, burned us all. Can you imagine? Seating under the scorching sun, packed like sadines with many others, perspiring non-stop. We were really grumpy and frustrated >( That's the worse part of the day.

After the killer sun sets, no more grumy face & more of happy facess around! Mood naturally brightens up. Sky got darker and lights start to lit up with many pretty lightings around. Ahhhh, that's the best. Back to my normal happy self and am lovin' the atmostphere (Y)

Cruise tripppppppppppppp!

Long awaited trip for 3 years finally came. Haha, not that cruise's a really fun-filled boat with lotsa activities. It's just the casino which attracts me to get on that boat and just gamblee. Elsewhere, you have to be at a legal age of 21 to be able to get into the casino but it's different with cruise, age of 18 and you will be able to step into the casino legally.

When i was primary 3, age of 7,8 or 9 (lazy to count), i met Bingshun on cruise (such a coincidence i know!) when i went with my family and friends. This time round, when i'm in poly year 3, age of 19 (soon to be), I went WITH him! hhehehe.

I was so little then.

Now, i'm this big, like really grew this BIG,(if you get what i mean)

Okay and so i thought the main motive to get onto that boat was to gamble. BUT i spent not a single cent in the casino. Call me weakling, i've got no guts to place $50 for every bet. Just one bet and it costs $50 sing, for your information. Just imagine i were to lose 1, just 1 bet and there goes to my weekly allowance. hahah, i've got a weak heart, mind you. Just the thought of losing scares me, let alone reality.

Anddd, i didn't know that casino is a smoking area! I thought that people will not be allowed to smoke while gambling. So, the whole place actually kinda stink & i can't stand being in there for 1 hour. It kills me inside. And it really did! hahaha, stayed in casino for at least 2 hours the first night (after getting checked nearly everytime i enter), and the next moment, i fall sick! hahahaha! told you i can't tolerate cigars.

Thought it was just a minor case of sore throat and flu, just some drowning of H20 would heal me and i was wrong. Bingshun thought he was strong enough to withstand the virus from me (i kept ah-chooing), but he was wrong too. haha! Eventually both of us fall ill ):

First two days were bearable. By the second night, i was bed-ridden! Couldn't even get out of bed to enjoy the breeezeeee, in fact i was freezzing cold i wore like 4 layers while others go half naked. Hahah, that bad, yes it was! :/ Missed out like a thousand things to do on cruise, things like sunrise, sunset, swimming jacuzzi, many others. Felt so useless, so wasted! )):

But still, cruise was enjoyable becoz even when i'm down, Bi's there for me! Heeeeeeeeeee, thank you so much for taking care of me that night. And i'm sorry for spoiling the whole trip, by getting you down too! Hahah, Thank you bi ♥

Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure

Rebecca & I came a longggg way to what we've became today, best of friends. Used to be my beloved junior, we hanged out pretty often then. So the saying goes ; After the calm, comes the storm. Things got out of hands after awhile and we were close friends no longer, just those common seen hi-bye friends. (Frankly, i have totally no clue how it ended up like this, don't even rememeber the reason we fought) Much pity but luckily, it didn't last that way.

Million thanks to the softball chalet, everything returned to its original form. Exchanged contacts (it's that bad, we dont even have each other's contact!), reminders to catch up more often, nostalgia strikes me. So, meetup happens, catch up follows & we're back! It's a relief. Friends who used to be really good in the past & got seperated for whatever reasons may not find themselves re-trusting their once close friend again. It's a relief X2. In fact, we are better than before naooooo (((;

Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow-ripening fruit

Holidays are awesome! It's too good to be true. Though its just 2 really short weeks, i'm actually living life to its fullest in this short period! I've met up with thousand (exaggerating) friends and it's been a real good time catching up with each and every single one of them! & that includes the softball gang. Didn't expect myself to be talking to any of you ever since i left secondary, much thanks to the chalet that brings all my used-to-be-close friends to be back into my arms! Ain't gonna let ag anymore, no matter where i am, no matter what happen!

Inline skating with MissKhong has always been this good. Be it 3 years or 3days ago or even 3 years later, the feeeling's all the same with you, dear! You've been such a pleasant girl to almost everyone & people who needs advice never fails to seek for your help & that includes myself! It's really surprising that 3 years have passed in a blink of an eye since we left secondary yet we are this close still when we are not even classmates in the first place & used to be arch enemies (haha!). Instead, we got close thanks to yknw-who & i'm really grateful for that b'coz i got to meet such a wonderful friend. Keep this going aye dear? I'll like to see us growing up together, much loves! ♥

Time to shop! It's been really long since I've walk down the streets, into shopping centres to try on some clothings and pay for it! Thanks to technology, girls these days ended up staying home and start browsing through blogshops, clicking non stop and tada, shopped! A few days later, your parcel of clothes end up greeting you at your doorstep. How convenient yet super addictive.

Perhaps this is the reason why girls grow fat nowadays aye? Or mayb, just me :S

8 more days to the end of ITP and the start of year3! I'm getting old and so is everyone else. ITP's been great recently, much thanks to Uncle Richard's company. He's a lame uncle (not to the extent of beating him up) and he's totally entertaining me every minute. Every morning he will greet me and expect the same from me. Last 2 hours of today, i told me supervisor i can't stand going down and wanna stay in the office so yup my wish is granted! hehehe, thank god. Finally did something that is ACCOUNTS RELATED. Totally enjoyed the last 2 hours which yupp gave me a good ending, heh.

On the bright side which makes the day alot better, there's this another SP student attached to the same company as me! PHEW. Though he's not doing the same task as I am and a total weirdo, at least someone i can lunched with.

My supervisor told me she'll be on leave tmr and so no office work but i'll be doing stock take the whole day tmr. Means i'm gonna suffferred again, god sake. Someone, save me please. I can't wait for friday to totally enjoy the weekends. More celebrations to go! (:

So much has happened

Hectic crazy febuary, the favourite month of the year. Chinese new year with fewer red packets, lesser visitings, heavier on the weighing machine with all the goodies laying around esp my chocolate cornflakes, how great. Exams round the corner, pimples popping all over my forehead. With people saying ' eh why so many dots '. Stress with information overloading. Usually one will expect fun during holidays after exams. Gymed, am really glad i pushed myself to even walk there and exercised. Felt so healthy after 1.5 hours of working out. Images of bubble tea and Cadbury Chocolate appeared right after i walked out of gym, really tempted to just go ShengShiong and buy. But i Tahan-ed. Proud of myself really! 3 hours later, feeling damn unprepared. Went in and GONE-D. Straight into depressed mode. Headed back to ShenShiong and got my cadbury (cherrybiscuit), plus to the max. Homed and eat non-stop. Toothsome. Back to the word FAT again. Miserable.

Exams are over, thumbsup, i'm hoping for good grades :)

3 weeks hols gonna be over really soon. 1 week's gone, next week's christmas and the week after's night cycling event (yay!!) and thats it, over just like that.

1st Hectic week finally over, yayo! Started off with a bad bad tummy flu virus, diarrhoea the whole night and started puking early in the morning. Stupid day! Was supposed to be @ intercons but ended up sleeping through the day. I think i slept more than 18 hours for that day, haha! Much thanks to BS for taking care of me when i'm down, xie xie ni! (:

Dinner and Dance on Tuesday. Intercons like everyday so yeah, rushed to Andrea's place after intercons and the train ride there with CQ and Chris was duper funny. Dress up Make up Get up. Girls' such a hussle. The party was kinda entertaining i think! Haha, it's so much better than some normal dinner kind of thing. I think it ended off quite well also! heh, so yeah, good job SPSU! After night @ Andrea's place was crazyyy. Tummy went haywire @ 3AM and there goes grace, haha 1st to knock off. Kept rushing to the toilet and its kinda irritating. They call me the fart girl. When everyone started falling asleep, i woke up and there goes christopher speaking in chinese and talking crap through the whole night, nonstop for 6 hours. POWER to the people. laughed like ha ha ha, all of us being entertained by him in our dreams, tgt with leonard's crazy man pose. Jenga, 4 numbers game, 99th storeys, weizhen's lack of sleep, whatsoever. HAA.

Packed up and off to school for intercons early in the morning. (thats how crazy we are!)

Anyway, sports club's the intercons champion for captain ball, yaye!(:

Been really busy with school these days! Meetings after meetings, hwk, classes, project!! but somehow, it seems better to be busy than not! hahaha, so i'm kinda occupied now :)

Loved the way it goes, enjoying as much as ever.

Recently, i went back to Chinese Orchestra, like toot like that! hahaha but its fun okayy! Back to my primary school days with LYNETTE CHEE! :D Used to play Erhu which sounds like killing ducks but now i play smart, learn Dizi (chinese flute) hahaha, its so much easier to bring around and sounds really nice but its really hard to be a good player but i'll buck up! heh!

MY 18TH BIRTHDAY! :D

Finally! hhaha, i'm 18 (:

Time to watch M18 movies, buy toto & 4d, get a driving license, club officially without jamie's IC, join michelle&sueann's gang, laugh at andrea, hahahahah!

I was really sexcited over my birthday, like every year. Before the clock strikes the start of my birthday, you'll see me jumping around, screaming for it! hahahha. Witnessed by my clique(cling) this year! Appreciated those who make an effort to wish me happy birthday, and the effort done to celebrate for me, for those who came, thanks all ((:

So yeah, cling brought me to kids amaze, blindfolded :/ i was really afraid that i'll knock into something so i took very small steps when i walk which takes like forever! Then you'll seee kind sueann holding onto grace and like a mummy say "dont be afraid, i'll be with you okay?" awww so sweet and so i believed her, like brave suddenly and step forward with big steps and like finally i knocked into something, real hardddd! -.- hahaha, sounds like i've been waiting for this moment yeah? omg, i think i'll look like a fool and it sounds funny! hahaha.

We are kinda old for kids amaze i guess. hahaha but still, had fun. SO much fun throwing headshot balls @ Michelle who doesn't know how to dodge, super funny! And she'll attack them and always missing me. I seriously like her frustrating yet retarded lookk! HAHAHA!

On the 17th, finally, i've learnt how to fly a kite! hahaha, like kuku, 17 years alrdy still dont know how to fly kite. but at least i learnt how to before i'm 18, lolol! thts comforting, hahaha. So yeah, was really against the idea to picnic @ marina barrage at 2pm in the afternoon!! OMG can you imagine how sunny and hot it will be :/ that explains why i'm so super tanned now :S

pretty girls stayover @ my place that night, spent the whole night chatting and slacking, its quite a nicee feeeling. haahah first time so many girls stayed over. And! i chased my brother away LOL! so that i can stay in his room for that night, hehe. time ticking away while we mahjonged. and i got excited and nervous every minute after, lolol! when its 11.45 we started screaming and jumping alrdy! haahah.

@ 12, they locked me in my room -.- kinda expected that BS will be @ the door holding my cake and surprising me! hahahaha. but to me another surprise, cynthia all were there! That's really shocking! We'd seperated so much and haven't been meeting for so long, didn't expecct to see them. And a pleasant surprise of course! :D I've no idea what came round me, isn't like me to melt so easily but yup i teared. hahaha! TONI&GUY TOMO's HAIRSHOW @ HOME CLUB

Was really early @ academy to get our hair done. Anyway, fyi, my hair was chopped off b'coz of this hairshow! Really won't have the courage to cut my hair short without any reason! So yeah, i think it's a good chance for me to gain the courage to cut it short. But of course, i didn't regret. Though long hair suits me better, i kinda like the short version! Afterall, it's a different style (still the same me of course!!). But at times, i really miss my long hair, felt very empty without the long strands to cover my shoulders!

Photos taken during the show! In love with the whole performance, loved the catchy song and hiphop dance! Felt as if i was clubbing instead of modelling. Haha. Though it was only a short 5 minutes, i totally enjoyed the whole show. Heh! LOVE IT!

HAPPENING!!!!

Leadership Training Camp (LTC) was superb!! I don't mind paying another 120bucks to get back to the place where we had full of fun! Anyway, it's located @ IPOH, malaysia! Very first thought of IPOH was the ipoh hor fan! hahaha. Seriously, i've never been to a camp which i truely enjoyed (due to the lack of sleeps and feeling dirty) but this time round it's different, totally. It's not as if the place is not dirty in fact it's the dirtiest camp area i've ever been to! But the FUN & LAUGHTER & JOY & HAPPINESS & EXPERIENCE covered all the bad points a camp have. Awwww, i just miss Ipoh & Nobody very much :(

My team's name is Nobody and i think it's kinda cool b'coz nobody's perfect. Haaa, whatever. Though we're all student leaders from different clubs, we can bond really well i think! (: Am really proud to be a member of my team! Usually, of all camps i've been to, my group will tend to be the dullest, boring group of all the others (including sports FO camp 0809!) . But this time it's the opposite! Nobody's full of life and caring (esp!). Yeah, only all the good points of ipoh camp yeah? It'll be dumb to say NO to this camp ;)

On our way to IPOH, the journey took 8 hrs :/ :/ As you can see, my grp starts chit chatting non stop. and that's adorable Julian! she's super cute! Her childhood stories are so fascinating i couldn't stop laughing whenever i think of them! hahaha. I miss her!

This is the super shiok lorry ride we have to take to get to the never ending Gopeng Resort! But still, i've never been standing on the lorry with so many others for half an hour before! During the journey, there will be tall branches so we'll have to duck away from them. Many exciting things happen on our way there. There was this once a caterpilla fall onto Julian's shirt and nobody dares to catch it and throw it away. So everyone starts screaming and run away from Julian while she cries out for help. Really funny. Just imagine a scene where everyone who are crampping onto the back of the lorry running away from one another. Haaa. The breeeze really cooling of course (;

Reached Gopeng Resort and everyone's first reaction was "you call this a resort?!" Ouch, its really dirty and disgusting there. Esp the toilet part :/ Stink like !@#$@! with many insects flying, crawling around when you pee or bathe. Ah my god, i miss ipoh but not the resort :/ There was one when i was bathing i saw this small crockcoach like insect moving around my area. I didn't dare to kill or touch it obviously so all i did was stare & avoid while bathing okay!! Terrible bath i would say. I didn't take my eyes off that insect throughout the whole bath and it was tiring :/ I was really afraid it will start flying around and touch me. Aw my goddddddddd, but luckily it didn't happen! So, phewww.

WHITE WATER RAFTING
Woohooo, fun fun and 3X fun! It was my very first time doing it and its totally enjoyable! My favourite activity among all 3 (: The water was super icyyyyyy and we have to do body rafting too, grrr. Partner roomates, Hyder & Ethan. A pity i didn't have my group's photo. Its really fun being with them, esp Julian! OMG she makes me laugh every few minutes of intervals. There was this once when she fell off her job and fell flat, it was so funny i couldn't stop laughing. While on job, I laughed so hard i fell backwards into the river :/ and its their turn to laugh hard that they forgot to rescue me in the river! Hahah, our raft capsized (purposely) 2 times with my fav guide (: SUPERB MAN!

WATER ABSEILING!

Oh god. My contact lense dropped out when i was abseiling as the water fall hard on my face, while hanging half way. I slipped quite a few times and my face "piak!" the rock, with many little cuts on both my middle finger, lol. Near-to-death experience :/ But still, a new experience. It's quite difficult initially, but it got better after doing more than once, still, shiokness! :D

I've not forgotten about this baby monkey! Super adorable.

Team-Building Activities.

CAVING!!

WEll, i didn't manage to get any photos @ the caving area but the whole place stink of bat's poo. Sheeessh, it's really smelly and we were in the whole cave for 3hrs, yikes! Water's icy cold again :/ and this time we have to the army style way to get out of the cave. Fyi, army style meaning lying flat on the ground crawling out. Was 'brrr' the whole way out, b'coz the water's intolerable!

Finally, we made our way to the hotel! Whoooosh! I started screaming when i step into the hotel room. It's so comfortable compared to our resort! Ahhh, it really felt good. Good shower and off we went to shoppping! Haha, nothing much, just some kuehs for my parents. I was on tight budget coz i went RM100 on contact lenses :/ For dinner, we had the famous IPOH HOR FAN! Its really good, the best, very different from the hor fan we eat in S'pore! Yummm ;)

Back to the hotel room and started chit chatting till 2am. It's really nice knowing each and everyone of you people! Awww, can't wait for nobody's gatheringgg!!! :D

Sentosa with Cynthia! Omg, it's acutally the last thing i will ever do. But for the sake of accompanying her, i won't mind. It's not as if i hate sentosa, in fact, i love it ! But i hate the SUN :SSSSS She's really fair and i would agree to suntan if i've got her skin but my skin is totally opposite! It gets reddd very easily and the very next day, super tanned with no skin peeling, no new skin. Grrr. But still, i went and i enjoyed (:

Holidays always seemed to pass by faster. Night cycle till morning with peeps and it's a killer ride. My butt aches and i think it shaped like the bike seat now, sheesh.

Oh yeah, i chop off my hair and it's not very really. I'm okayyy with my new hair but kinda missing my old hair already :/ Comments were that i'm so not grace :S

This week's gonna pass really fast and i'll be missing baby for 7 days! Grrr. Leadership Training Camp with its programmes are taking up too much of my holiday time! But i chose it, so yeah. Speaking of which, LTC really gives me headache. I've been offered 3 times to work @ F1 but i simply can't make it (F1 clash with LTC) and it's driving me nuts. On top of which, all my close friends are working and getting paid really really well for this event. Ahhh, damnit.

I'm leaving this Sunday to Ipoh! Miss me people and pray for my return yeah ;)

Last day of work and here i am, seizing the last opportunity to type on this keyboard. ha, work's been really relaxing yet scary when i see big bosses :/ lala, nothing much to be done from 9.30 to 6.30 @ ING Bank, but it has been a good experience for me ! (Best of which, i've read through 200 pages of harry potter during my work times, that's how boring it can get when there's nothing to do )

I really DO NOT looked forward to work when i grow up. My 'partner' has been repeatedly emphasising how much she really wish to have a holiday like us, students. She's gonna been working every weekday for the rest of her life til she retires. At the same time hoping to strike lottery every fortnightly. (so that she can fire her boss!) Well, that's really saddening and it's the exact same situation that's happening to my parents! Well, i guess that's life yeeah? And i really would want to change that lifestyle if it ever gonna occur to me!

I'M FREEEEE! Exams ended with a bad ending. You're supposed to be feeling happy after the last paper ended, but you'll end up feeling screwed if the last paper was done badly. Sheesh, i didn't expect the module i hated most in the end was Cost Accounting, (supposedly taxation) but instead tax seemed a lot easier :S
